Alex Boya is an emerging filmmaker. He was in the 10th edition of Hothouse at the National Film Board of Canada.
His latest film Rite of Passage
was selected at the Fantasia International Film Festival.
He first started drawing from observation before being introduced to animation at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Now his focus is turned on the unconscious, fully documenting the process in strange drawings.
